February 9, 2024, South Australia, Australia - Ansell is honoured to announce that we’ve been awarded SA Health's 2023 Environment, Social, and Governance (ESG) Positive Impact Award. This prestigious award recognises our commitment to making a positive difference in the SA Health community by contributing through the following pillars: environmental sustainability, social impact, and governance.
The 2023 SA Health Supplier Awards at the Adelaide Convention Centre on November 9th, 2023, celebrated high-performing suppliers supporting SA Health's vision to provide the best health for South Australians.
To date, this positive change has been reflected by:
- Being rated as an ESG top-rated company by Morningstar Sustainalytics
- Achieving Zero Waste to Landfill certification across all our plants
- Reducing our GAMMEX® SMART PACK™ surgical glove packaging carbon footprint by 21%, including up to 90% recyclable material1
- Increasing renewable electricity usage to 29% through rooftop solar (up from 14% in 2022 and 2.4% in 2020) and other power initiatives
- Committing to achieving at least 40% women representation in all levels by 2030
